General Terms

The website www.cookforduke.com enables both our customers and all internet users to be directly informed about the services we offer. Upon request, an expert chef will come to your place to create the menu you have chosen and recommend you the best local wines.

Cooking classes can also be offered on site by a qualified chef. For more information, please refer to the menu.

By accepting the Terms of Use, the user declares explicitly that they are adults over 18 years old, who have read, understood and fully accepted the Terms of Use.

The User has to provide us with complete and accurate information for the proper processing of their bookings, including the address where the “event” will take place, as well as their contact details.

We reserve the right to investigate and take legal action, in our sole discretion, against anyone who proceeds in illegal or prohibited actions or conducts that undermine our website’s operation.

In order for the User to use our services, they must fill in the reservation form through the “Booking” system.

All content posted on our website, including the website’s design, images, graphics, photographs, drawings, texts, provided services, are Cookforduke’s intellectual property and therefore they are protected according to the relevant provisions of Greek Law, European Law and international conventions.

In any case, their appearance and display on our website should in no way be construed as a transfer or assignment of license or right of use to any visitor or user of the website.

Personal Data Protection Policy and Privacy Policy

This website has been designed to fully comply with the personal data protection of the visitors/users, according to the GDPR [General Data Protection Regulation  2016/679 (EE)], which came into force in 25-5-2018, as well as the L. 4624/2019 (Government Gazette Α΄137), which sets out measures for the implementation of the GDPR and incorporates the Directive 2016/680 (EE) into the national legislation. Any future changes to the above regulatory framework will be subject to this contract.

Recognizing the importance of your personal data security, as well as the electronic transactions, we take all necessary measures, using the most modern and advanced methods, in order to ensure your maximum security.

Consent of data subject is defined by any willing indication, free, specific, explicit and fully known, by which the data subject declares that they agree, either by a statement or by a clear, positive action, with the processing of their personal data.

Such notification includes information concerning at least the processing purposes, the data or data category related to the process, the recipients or the recipients’ categories of the personal data, as well as the name, brand name and address of the in-charge controller and any representative.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time, without retroactive effects [art. 7, par. 1-4 of Regulation 679/2016 (ΕΕ)].

No written form is requested for the consent of simple user data processing, therefore consent may be given electronically, by any appropriate means.

What kind of personal data we collect about you

We collect the following personal data:

REGISTRATION DATA, i.e., the information you submit to register for one or more of our Company’s Services, e.g., create an account, post comments, receive a newsletter or participate in a contest.

For example, Identification Data, such as Name, Surname, Father’s Name, Username, Contact Data, such as Postal address, Email address, Mobile phone number, Audiovisual material, such as events’ photos and videos.

PUBLIC DATA AND POSTS, i.e., comments or content you post on our website, as well as your personal data related to said posts or content, which may include your nickname, username, comments, likes, status, profile info and photo.

Public information and posts are always public, which means that they are available to everyone and they may appear in external search engines’ results.

SOCIAL MEDIA DATA, the data we collect may include your user ID or/and username associated with the social media service, information or content you have allowed the social media service to share with us, your profile photo, your email address or your friends’ lists, as well as your personal data posted in connection with said social media service.

This website collects and uses personal data for the following purposes:

  • Website traffic monitoring

Like most websites, https://www.cookforduke.com uses Google Analytics (GA) to track users’ activity. We use these data to determine the number of people using our website, in order for us to better understand how they find and use our websites and track their journey on the website.
